Welcome! This site is intended to be an area where we all can view, vote and comment about the Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD):
The APOD is a service provided by NASA and Michigan Technological University (MTU), dedicated since 1995 to feature each day a different image or photograph of our universe, along with a brief explanation written by a professional astronomer.
IMPORTANT: Some of the images in this site are copyrighted by their owners. APOD@coRank has received explicit permission from the APOD team to run and maintain this site, but if you'd like to use any image from this website please visit first its corresponding APOD page (just click on the title of a picture) for credits and copyright information.
